Acute liver injury models

Alcohol induces acute liver injury showing hepatocyte degeneration, changes in serum TG and vLDL, liver tissue MDA, GSH and TG after alco

CCl4 induces an acute liver injury showing hepatocyte balloon injury with inflammatory cell infiltra-tion at dose of 0.5mg/kg, slight recovering from degeneration at 48hrs of CCl4 doing; much severe and wide hepatocyte balloon degeneration with remarkable inflammatory cell infiltration at dose of 1.0ml/kg. Severe hepatocyte necrosis with inflammatory cell infiltration appeared at 48hrs of doing. Serum AST, ALT and TG elevated significantly after CCl4 dosing and reduced significantly at low dosing of CCl4 rather than slowly reduction at high dose of CCl4.
  


HFD (over 12 weeks of HFD) induces a severe fatty liver in mouse model showing clear morphology changes and serum biomarker changes in LDL, HDL, TC, TG, ALT, AST and TB.

severe steatosis, hepatocyte balloon degeneration, inflammatory cell infiltration,
fibrosis, irregular glycogen accumulation in hepatocytes, and changes in serum ALT, AST and TB.

 DIO+CCl4 induces a NASH model in mice showing hepatocyte degeneration,
inflammatory cell infiltration, fibrosis, glycogen accumulation in hepatocytes appeared
at 4 weeks of DIO+CCl4.


DIO+CCl4 induces a NASH model in mice showing severe hepatocyte
balloon degeneration, inflammatory cell infiltration, fibrosis and irregular glycogen
accumulation in hepatocytes appeared at 8 weeks of DIO+CCl4
